Colour 1990s
Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens
Dorset, UK
Private garden
When I entered the gardens I was overwhelmed with delight at the rich diversity of forms and colours, secret areas to be discovered and a sense that the gardens imbue a time that has little to do with the busy rush of modernity.
Photographed after a fall of rain, the water droplets on the leaves and flowers catch the light, making the colours more vibrant in the moist clean air.
