I made photographs in Fox Rosehill Gardens over a period of more than fifteen years, both in colour and black and white, with a large amount made in the late 1970s/early 1980s and early/mid 1990s.

I was captivated by the diversity of plants in this comparatively small but rich garden, and the paths and planted areas that gradually reveal themselves. Both the garden and the photographs were a constant source of wonder and surprise. Both, somehow, confirmed a magical sense of coming home and being at one with my own skin.
